This is an initiative of Our Rights & Social Society, started in the year 2018. An strive to bring children to library and surround them with books and engage them into various activities that can enchance their character in their life.
An strive to bring change into the children temperaments towards innovation and skillfullness.
The idea was to establish the libraries at a distance not more than 200 meters.
Quiz among children who have listed their name as participants in the week.
We invite influencer of the society and the thinker of the time to talk with the children.
Games like chess, cards, carrom and various games are there available in the library for children to enjoy.
And a lot of fun.
The story starts in the year 2018, We had concieved the idea of building a library in this locality, and to attract children of smaller ages towards more innovative activities in order develop scientific temperament in the children. We started to populate our library with the old books that passed out student sell it to the scrappers. Its was ecomically feasible for the society, but it was not enough for the notion of the library.
So we started collecting books from students in our contact, and asked them to collect in their friend circle. This approach was quite effictive. we started to books that all the students need in their life, but there was again a problem, we recieved multiple same books. So basically that is not a very good yeild. Another weekend we came to an idea and we started asking to donate books to the society. This idea was better than the previous one. We got books of whole lot of diversity.
Till now we had inventory of more 1000 books but we still needed a directionful bundle of books. Then an organisation helped and donated around 2000 books not taught in schools. We successfully started our library. After a while, Aseems library donated a lot of accessories like almirahs, playbooks, steckes etc. along with the books like novels and auto-biographies.
